Ingredients
- 1 inch chunk Organic Ginger fresh or frozen root
- 2 Tbsp Organic Flax seeds raw, to grind freshly
- 2 scoops Vibrational Greens Pure or other blend
- 2 cups Water filtered or purified
- 1 Tbsp Organic Maple Syrup
Servings: cups
Instructions
- Grind the dry flax seeds till fine. You can use a coffee grinder or high speed blender.
- Prepare your water: Heat 2 cups of water below boiling temperature. Either use 1 part boiling and 1 part room temperature water, or do some guesswork. The ideal temperature to preserve the oils and nutrients in the seeds and Vibrational Greens, AND to achive a warming and comforting drink is around 50°C (122°F) or lower. Careful if you try this to test for the correct temperature. If you see steam coming off the water, most likely it is too hot. Mix in more cold water before you carefully test it: If you can stick your finger in the water without burning or discomfort, it is not too hot.
- Pre chop the ginger piece to your preference to reduce longer strands in your drink.
- Using a high speed blender, process water, seeds, ginger and Vibrational Greens together till smooth and creamy.
- If you are sensitive to little chewy bits of ginger and seeds, you can strain this drink through a tea strainer before serving. Pour into cups or glasses, put your feet up and enjoy your Gingerccino 🙂
